Getting To Know Dr. Blackwelder
Dr. Wallace (Bud oor Dr.”B”) Blackwelder was born in Loma Linda, California and lived in Southern California all his life. After completing four years at Pacific Union College, he returned to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1983. He also participated in an externship at the Navajo Indian Dental Clinic and Hospital in Monument Valley, Utah where the program was concentrated in taking care of patients with oral and dental diseases.
Dr. “B” has owned his private practice in Rowland Heights, CA since 1984. He is a current member of the American and California Dental Associations, as well a member of the San Gabriel Valley and Tri-County Dental Societies where he regularly attends a variety of dental continuing education courses. (He particularly enjoys restorative and cosmetic dental procedures. Additionally, he prides himself in making his patients feel comfortable and relaxed during procedures, and leaving the office a little more dental educated than when they came in!)
